Description
Crispy, caramelized honey roasted sweet potatoes with soft centers and sticky golden glaze. A simple, crowd-pleasing side for any season.

- 3–4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of cayenne or smoked paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut sweet potatoes into 1-inch cubes and pat them dry with a towel.
- Toss sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional spices in a bowl.
- Spread evenly on the baking sheet in a single layer, leaving space between pieces.
- Roast for 20 minutes, then remove and drizzle with honey. Toss gently.
- Return to oven and roast an additional 10–15 minutes until caramelized and crisp.
- Serve warm or let cool slightly for salads or meal prep.
Notes
- For vegan version, substitute maple syrup for honey.
- Don’t add honey at the beginning to prevent burning.
- Pairs perfectly with grilled meats or hearty salads.
