Description
A simple, 4-ingredient wellness tonic made with apple cider vinegar, lemon, ginger, and honey to support metabolism and digestion.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar (unfiltered with “the mother”)
Juice of ½ fresh lemon
½ teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)
1 cup warm water (not boiling)
Instructions
1. Add the apple cider vinegar and lemon juice to a mug.
2. Stir in the grated ginger and optional honey until dissolved.
3. Pour in the warm water and stir again.
4. Sip slowly on an empty stomach for best results.
Notes
Using warm, not boiling, water protects the beneficial enzymes in the raw honey and lemon.
For a sugar-free version, simply omit the honey.
