Ingredients
- 4 frozen Trader Joe’s hashbrown patties (or as many as fit in a single layer)
Instructions
1. Preheat Your Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for 3 to 5 minutes. This helps the patties start crisping immediately.
2. Arrange the Patties: Place the frozen hashbrowns in the air fryer basket in a single, even layer. Do not stack them. A little space between each patty allows the hot air to circulate for the best results.
3. Cook for 6 Minutes: Air fry the patties for the first 6 minutes.
4. Flip Each Patty: At the 6-minute mark, use tongs to carefully flip each hashbrown patty over. This is the most important step for ensuring both sides get incredibly crispy and evenly browned.
5. Finish Cooking: Continue to air fry for another 6 to 8 minutes, or until they are deep golden-brown and have reached your desired level of crispiness.
6. Serve Immediately: Remove the hashbrowns carefully and serve hot for the best texture.
