  • 1 pound boneless chicken breasts Trimmed and patted dry. Thighs can be substituted.
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce Frank's is a classic option.
  • 2-3 tablespoons melted butter Adjust for richness.
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar Can replace with honey for sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon salt To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Freshly ground.
  • 1-2 teaspoons olive oil Optional for crisping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  2. Cut the boneless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, about 1 to 1½ inches.
  3. In a mixing bowl, toss the chicken with salt, black pepper, and olive oil (if using).
  4. Add the homemade buffalo sauce and mix until all pieces are well coated.
Cooking
  1. Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
  2. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Serving
  1. Transfer the chicken to a serving dish and serve hot.

Notes
