- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and cinnamon. Add the milk and egg, mixing until smooth.
- Dice apples into small chunks and gently fold them into the batter.
- Heat oil in a deep pot to 350°F (test with wooden spoon or thermometer).
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, flipping once for even cooking (about 2–3 minutes per side).
- Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Whisk powdered sugar and milk to form a glaze. Drizzle over warm fritter bites and serve.
