  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Agave syrup is a suitable alternative.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips or nuts (optional) Feel free to add your favorite nuts or dried fruits.

Preparation
  1. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Add the oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon to the mashed bananas.
  3. Mix everything well until combined.
  4. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or your choice of nuts for added crunch.
  5. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in size.
  6. Place the energy balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
