  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until they’re smooth and creamy.
  3. Add in oats, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup, peanut butter, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt. Mix until everything is fully combined to create a uniform batter.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly for consistent baking.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are a beautiful golden brown.
  6. Allow the bars to cool in the dish before cutting them into squares.
