  • 1 cup Heavy Cream, cold

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Begin by blending the vanilla wafers with melted butter and sugar.
  2. Compress the mixture into your chosen springform pan or pie dish.
  3. Allow the crust to chill for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Filling
  1. In a separate bowl, whip the softened cream cheese until light and creamy.
  2. Combine the instant pudding mix with cold milk, whisk for about two minutes until thickened, then mix in with the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Slice the bananas and whisk the cold heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the banana-cheese mixture.
  5. Layer banana slices on the chilled crust, then evenly distribute the filling on top.
  6. Smooth the surface and let the cheesecake chill for 6-8 hours or overnight until fully set.
Topping
  1. For a crunch topping, combine crushed wafers or Oreos with melted butter and sprinkle over the cheesecake just before serving.
  2. Garnish as desired with whipped cream, banana slices, or whole wafers, and enjoy!
