Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (e.g. rotisserie)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • 6 Hawaiian slider rolls
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese (or a mix)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley (optional)

Equipment

  • baking dish
  • mixing bowl
  • spoon or spatula
  • bread knife
  • pastry brush

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with buffalo sauce until evenly coated. Stir in dressing for creaminess.
  3. Slice the slider rolls horizontally without separating them. Place the bottom layer in the dish.
  4. Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly on the bottom half. Top with shredded cheese and place the top half of rolls back on.
  5. Brush melted butter over the top rolls. Sprinkle with garlic powder and parsley if using.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until cheese is melted and tops are golden. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Customize spice by adjusting the buffalo sauce or adding hot sauce or ranch. Try variations like adding bacon, pineapple, or jalapeños. Toast the rolls slightly before baking to prevent sogginess. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze individually wrapped.
