Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the yellow cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake according to package directions, around 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once the cake has baked, let it cool for about 15 minutes. Poke holes all over the cake using a skewer or fork.
- Generously pour the praline sauce over the warm cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
Topping
- In a medium bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream over the cake and sprinkle the chopped pecans on top.
- Drizzle with extra praline sauce if desired.
Chilling
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
