This warm and gooey Caramel Apple Dump Cake is one of the easiest slow cooker desserts you can make. With only four ingredients, it's perfect for cozy fall nights, holiday gatherings, or any time you want a rich and comforting treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans (20 oz each) apple pie filling
  • 1 jar (12 oz) caramel sauce, divided
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (or spice cake mix)
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter, melted

Method
 

  1. Grease a 6-quart crockpot or slow cooker insert to prevent sticking.
  2. Spread the apple pie filling evenly across the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the apples.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top. Do not stir.
  5. Pour the melted butter evenly across the cake mix to cover it fully.
  6. Cover and cook on high for 2–3 hours or on low for 3–4 hours, until golden and bubbly.
  7. Serve warm with extra caramel sauce or vanilla ice cream, if desired.

Notes

Use spice cake mix for extra fall flavor. Make sure melted butter fully covers the cake mix for a golden, crispy top. Don’t stir the layers. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream and drizzle with extra caramel for the ultimate finish. Grease your crockpot well for easier cleanup!
