  • 1 cup sugar Can use coconut sugar for different flavor.
  • 2 large eggs Organic eggs recommended for richer flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter and sugar blend, alternating with milk, until well combined.
Baking
  1. Transfer the batter into your prepared dish.
  2. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cooling
  1. Let the dessert cool for about 10-15 minutes before cutting.
