  • 2 pounds potatoes, diced
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced Can substitute with turkey sausage.
  • 1 cup ranch dressing Consider using a low-fat version.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice) Experiment with different cheese blends for added flavor.
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the diced potatoes, sliced smoked sausage, ranch dressing, and half of the shredded cheese.
  3. Season with salt and pepper. Mix everything until it’s coated well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
Cooking
  1. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
  2. Remove it from the oven and sprinkle the remaining cheese and chopped green onions on top.
  3. Pop it back in the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  4. Serve hot and enjoy!
