Ingredients
  

Meats and Cheese
  • 4 ounces deli ham
  • 4 ounces salami
  • 4 ounces pepperoni
  • 4 ounces provolone cheese
Vegetables
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce or 3 ounces leafy lettuce
  • 2 slices medium red onion intact rings (about 2 ounces)
  • 1/4 cup banana pepper rings
  • 1 large tomato sliced
Condiments and Seasonings
  • 4 8-inch sub or hoagie rolls
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons Italian salad dressing of choice
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Chop the lettuce, ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone cheese, onion, banana peppers, and tomato into small bite-sized pieces.
  2. Transfer these chopped ingredients to a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the mayonnaise, followed by the red wine vinegar, Italian salad dressing, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper.
  4. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
  5. Divide the mixture into four equal portions.
  6. Fill each sub roll with a portion of the chopped mixture.
