Christmas Tree Breadsticks with Spinach Dip

These festive breadsticks shaped like a Christmas tree are filled with creamy spinach dip and baked until golden. They're a showstopping centerpiece for any holiday party — both decorative and delicious!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup prepared spinach dip
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water
  • cherry tomatoes (for garnish)
  • cheese or bell pepper, cut into a star shape (for topping)

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375–400°F (190–200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll the puff pastry into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
  3. Spread the spinach dip evenly over half of the dough, leaving a small border.
  4. Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and press edges to seal.
  5. Cut the dough into strips about ½ to ¾ inch wide.
  6. Twist each strip and arrange them into a Christmas tree shape on the baking sheet.
  7. Whisk the egg and water together to make an egg wash, then brush it over the top of the dough.
  8. Bake for 12–20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  9. Garnish with cherry tomatoes and a cheese star. Serve warm.

Notes

Chill the puff pastry before baking for the best flakiness. Don't overfill with dip or it may leak. Add festive touches like rosemary sprigs or cheese stars for decoration. To make it spicy, try adding jalapeños or chili flakes.
