  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
Glaze Ingredients
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-4 tablespoons milk Adjust for desired consistency.
  • 1 drop green food coloring Optional for decoration.
  • candy ornaments For decoration.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, granulated sugar, and active dry yeast. Allow this mixture to sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, eggs, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir well to combine.
  3. Slowly incorporate bread flour, one cup at a time, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Place kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean cloth, and let it rise until it has doubled in size—about 1-2 hours.
Rolling and Baking
  1. When dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface into a large rectangle.
  2. Spread the melted butter evenly over the surface.
  3. Sprinkle a mixture of brown sugar and ground cinnamon across the buttered dough.
  4. Roll it up tightly and slice into individual rolls.
  5. Arrange rolls in a greased baking dish, allowing them to rise for another 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Glazing
  1. To make the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and green food coloring to your desired hue.
  2. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and decorate with candy ornaments.
