  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter or peanut butter Choose based on preference.
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds Optional for thickness.
Mix-Ins
  • 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon crushed nuts (walnuts or pecans) Optional.

Preparation
  1. Combine rolled oats, milk, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a medium-sized bowl or mason jar. Stir well.
  2. If desired, stir in chia seeds or flaxseeds for a thicker consistency.
  3. Add mini chocolate chips and crushed nuts, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.
  5. Before serving, stir gently. Add a splash of milk if the mixture is too thick, and top with more chocolate chips or a drizzle of almond butter.
  6. Enjoy directly from the jar or serve in a bowl.
