Cranberry Cheese Bites

These festive Cranberry Cheese Bites are creamy, tangy, and wrapped in golden crescent dough — the perfect quick appetizer for Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving, or any fall gathering.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup whole berry or jellied cranberry sauce
  • powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  4. Spread about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of cranberry sauce on top.
  6. Roll up each crescent triangle from the wide end to the tip.
  7. Place crescents on the baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

Try adding orange zest to the filling for a citrusy twist, or swap cranberry for raspberry preserves. To make them ahead, chill the unbaked bites and bake just before serving. Dust with powdered sugar for an elegant finish.
