Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Ground Beef Use lean beef for a lighter option
  • 12 ounces Pasta (penne, rotini, or fettuccine) Choose your preferred type
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For sautéing
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Can substitute with half-and-half
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated for best flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika For spice balance
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Adjust to taste
  • Salt Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley For garnish
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced for flavor
  • 1 small Onion Chopped for flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook your pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of the cooking water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, and cook until fragrant and translucent.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until browned. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  4. Lower the heat and pour in heavy cream. Stir in Parmesan cheese and mix until it melts into a silky sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water for perfect consistency.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the pan, toss until fully coated, and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve immediately while hot and creamy.
