Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts Slice in half horizontally or pound to an even thickness
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For searing chicken
  • 2 tablespoons butter To create the sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Sauté until fragrant
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half or non-dairy options
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated for better flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste For seasoning
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish Optional

Method

Preparation
  1. Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound them to an even thickness. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken and sear until golden brown and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side.
  2. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. Lower the heat and add butter to the pan along with the minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to deglaze the pan, scraping up any flavorful bits. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and allow the sauce to simmer until it thickens.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes, ensuring it's heated through and beautifully coated with the sauce.
