- Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound them to an even thickness. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Cooking
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken and sear until golden brown and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. Lower the heat and add butter to the pan along with the minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir to deglaze the pan, scraping up any flavorful bits. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and allow the sauce to simmer until it thickens.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes, ensuring it's heated through and beautifully coated with the sauce.
