Preparation
- Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch mix evenly over the chicken. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour chicken broth over the top.
- Place the block of cream cheese on top of the chicken. Do not stir yet.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours until the chicken becomes fork-tender.
- Shred the chicken using two forks directly in the slow cooker. Stir everything together until the sauce becomes creamy and smooth.
- If desired, add shredded cheddar and bacon bits and let them melt before serving.
Serving
