Creepy Deviled Eggs

Ingredients
  

  • 6 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1/2 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • black olives, sliced (for garnish)
  • red food coloring (for garnish)

Equipment

  • saucepan for boiling eggs
  • mixing bowl
  • fork or masher to mash yolks
  • piping bag or spoon
  • serving tray
  • toothpick for drawing designs

Method
 

  1. Slice the boiled eggs lengthwise and place the whites on a serving tray.
  2. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Pipe or spoon the mixture back into the egg whites.
  4. For spiderwebs, dilute black food coloring and use a toothpick to draw lines outward from a center dot.
  5. For eyeballs, draw red veins with food coloring and place a sliced black olive in the center.
  6. Chill before serving so the designs can set.
