Preparation
- Measure 9 cups of rice Chex cereal in a large bowl and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of chocolate chips, 1/2 cup of peanut butter, and 1/4 cup of butter.
- Microwave this mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
- Mix in 1 tsp of vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the melted mixture over the rice Chex and gently stir until all the cereal is well coated.
- Transfer the powdered sugar into a large zip-lock bag, add the coated cereal, and shake vigorously until it’s all covered.
- Spread the mixture out on a baking sheet to cool completely.
- Once cooled, fold in 1/2 cup of red and pink M&M's and any sprinkles you may want to add.
- Serve Cupid Chow in a vibrant bowl or package it into gift bags for sharing.

Store Cupid Chow in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in a sealed bag.
