- In another bowl, beat the softened butter with honey until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is well incorporated.
- Gradually fold in the dry ingredients and soaked dates, then stir in the chopped nuts.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
