Preparation
- Start by melting the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Slice each date in half lengthwise.
- Fill each sliced date with 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of peanut butter.
- Dip each filled date into the melted chocolate, using a fork to completely coat.
- Place the coated dates on parchment paper.
- Sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt on top if desired.
- Refrigerate the coated dates for 20-30 minutes until the chocolate sets.
