  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (drained) Canned is fine, but fresh is preferred.
  • 1 cup mandarin oranges (drained) Canned is fine, but fresh is preferred.
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
Optional Ingredients
  • 1 cup chopped nuts Optional for texture.
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries Optional.

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, add the Cool Whip, miniature marshmallows, pineapple chunks, mandarin oranges, and shredded coconut.
  2. If desired, fold in chopped nuts and maraschino cherries for extra texture.
  3. Gently fold all ingredients together to achieve a well-mixed consistency.
  4. Cover the bowl and chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
