Ingredients
  

Dressing
  • ¾ cup Mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Sour Cream Consider using Greek yogurt as a substitute for a healthier option.
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar Adjust for tanginess as per preference.
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar Adjust for sweetness as per preference.
  • Salt & Black Pepper (to taste)
Salad Ingredients
  • 13-16 oz. Frozen Peas (thawed, drained) You can use fresh peas if available.
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese (shredded) You can substitute with feta for a different flavor.
  • ½ cup Purple/Red Onion (chopped)
  • ¼ cup Real Bacon Bits Freshly cooked bacon can add an extra crunch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Thaw the peas by placing them in a colander under cold running water or letting them sit at room temperature.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth and combined.
  3. Add the thawed peas, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped onion, and bacon bits to the bowl with the dressing. Mix everything together until well coated.
  4. Cover the salad and refrigerate until ready to serve to allow flavors to meld.

Notes
