  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar Can substitute with coconut sugar or a sugar alternative
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder Can substitute with carob powder for a unique twist
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil Can substitute with melted coconut oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine your flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Mix well.
  3. Pour in the vegetable oil, water, and vanilla extract. Stir everything until it's nicely combined.
  4. Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish and pour in your brownie batter, smoothing it out evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes. To check for doneness, insert a toothpick in the center—if it comes out clean, you’re all set!
  2. Allow the brownies to cool. Slice into squares and dive in!
