Ingredients
Method
- 1. Cut the chicken in half lengthwise to create 4 thin pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- 2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and tent loosely with foil.
- 3. Add flour and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- 4. Pour in chicken broth or wine. Whisk to deglaze the pan and reduce by half.
- 5. Stir in the heavy cream. Let it bubble gently for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
- 6. Remove skillet from heat and stir in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- 7. Return chicken to skillet. Spoon sauce over each piece. Garnish with parsley and serve with pasta.

Notes
Use freshly grated parmesan for best flavor and consistency.
If using wine, choose a dry white such as Pinot Grigio.
Add spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, or red pepper flakes for variation.
