Ingredients
  

For the Bread
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup diced fresh strawberries If strawberries aren't in season, use frozen ones, thawed and drained.
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry juice or milk Use for achieving a smooth glaze consistency.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well incorporated.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, and milk until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined—avoid overmixing!
  5. Gently integrate the diced strawberries into the batter.
  6. Transfer the mix into your prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. While baking, whisk together the powdered sugar with strawberry juice or milk until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  3. Once the bread has cooled, drizzle the glaze generously over the top.
  4. Slice and enjoy!
