Ingredients
  

  • 1 8 oz brie cheese round (rind on)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (garlic infused optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (or fresh garlic)
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce, warmed
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
  • crackers or baguette slices (for serving)

  • spoon or ladle (for marinara)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the brie on the sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder and oregano.
  3. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until softened and gooey.
  4. Warm the marinara sauce before serving. Carefully move the brie onto a serving platter.
  5. Pour the marinara sauce over the top letting it drip down the sides like blood.
  6. Sprinkle with fresh basil and serve with crackers or baguette slices.

Notes
