Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

  6. Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Top each cookie with Halloween sprinkles for decoration.
  9. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until edges are golden and centers are just set.
  10. Cool cookies on the baking sheet for several minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
