Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add egg, vanilla extract, and red food coloring to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
- Take small portions of the dough and form them into balls. Place them on a baking sheet about two inches apart.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes.
- Immediately after removing them from the oven, press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
- Let the cookies cool before serving to enjoy the perfect texture.
