Cooking the Pudding

- Stir the tempered egg mixture back into the saucepan with the pudding.

Assembling the Banana Pudding
- In a serving dish, layer the vanilla wafers, sliced bananas, and pudding until all ingredients are used.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight to chill and set.
