Ingredients
  

For the marinade
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Can substitute with tamari for gluten-free
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional for heat
For the salmon
  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Toss the salmon cubes in the marinade until they’re evenly coated. Let them marinate for about 15–20 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Spread the marinated salmon in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  3. Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.

Notes
