Hot Italian Sub Sliders

Delicious hot sandwiches filled with savory cured meats, melty cheese, and zesty peppers, perfect for gatherings and quick meals.

Ingredients
  

For the sliders
  • 12 pack rolls, halved lengthwise (Kings Hawaiian recommended)
  • 6 oz package of ham, thinly sliced
  • 5 oz package of salami, thinly sliced
  • 5 oz package of pepperoni, thinly sliced
  • 9 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/3 cup pepperoncini, sliced
  • 1/3 cup pickled hot cherry peppers, sliced
For the seasoned butter
  • 1/4 cup salted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed (fresh preferred)
For dipping
  • 1 cup marinara sauce for dipping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Lay the bottom halves of the rolls in a baking sheet or pan.
  3. Layer the ingredients: add slices of ham, followed by salami, pepperoni, and provolone cheese. Top with sliced hot cherry peppers and pepperoncini.
Assembly and Baking
  1. Place the top portion of the rolls back on.
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter with Italian seasoning and crushed garlic, then mix well.
  3. Generously brush the seasoned butter over the top of the sliders, ensuring all surfaces are covered.
  4. Cover with foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven, slice into individual sliders, and enjoy with a side of marinara sauce for dipping!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or freeze individual sliders wrapped in plastic wrap for up to 2 months. Bake from frozen at 350°F for about 20 minutes or until warmed through.
