  • 4 pieces Italian bread or hoagie rolls
  • 4 cups Lettuce, chopped
  • 2 medium Tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 medium Onion, sliced
  • 1 cup Pepperoncini, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Olives, sliced
  • 6 oz Salami, sliced
  • 4 oz Ham, sliced
  • 4 oz Provolone cheese, sliced
For the Dressing
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice your Italian bread or hoagie rolls in half lengthwise.
  2. Layer the bottom half with crisp lettuce.
  3. Add sliced tomatoes, onions, pepperoncini, and olives.
  4. Once the vegetables are in place, add salami, ham, and slices of provolone cheese.
  5. Drizzle generously with olive oil and vinegar, then sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Carefully place the top half of the bread on the sandwich.
  7. Serve it right away, or wrap it up for a portable meal.
