- 1. Soak the kombu strip in the warm water for 10 minutes. Once the water is infused, remove and discard the kombu.
- 2. To the kombu-infused water, add the matcha powder, umeboshi paste, and freshly grated ginger.
- 3. Using a bamboo whisk or a small milk frother, whisk vigorously until the matcha is completely dissolved and a light froth forms on top.
- 4. Pour into a mug and sip slowly while warm.
