  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef (sirloin or ribeye) can substitute chicken or turkey
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (provolone or mozzarella) use your favorite type of cheese
  • 1 medium onion, sliced for sautéing
  • 1 whole bell pepper, sliced for sautéing
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper seasoning
  • optional Low-carb bread or wrap for rolling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add in the sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté until they’re soft and aromatic, about five minutes.
  3. Push the veggies to the side and toss in the thinly sliced beef. Season it with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook the beef, stirring occasionally until browned and cooked through, which should take around 5-7 minutes.
  5. After browning, sprinkle the shredded cheese over the beef and let it melt to create a creamy topping.
  6. If you want a traditional feel, place the mixture in a low-carb wrap or bread and roll it up tightly. Alternatively, serve it straight from the skillet.
