- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread tater tots evenly on the baking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Remove the tots and immediately sprinkle shredded cheese and chopped bacon over the top while still hot.
- Return the tray to the oven for another 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Top each tot with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of green onions.
- Serve warm on a platter. Use toothpicks or mini cups for easy handling.
