Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons butter Use unsalted butter for best results.
  • 1 package mini marshmallows (10 oz) They melt the fastest, delivering the best texture.

  • Green food coloring (optional) Add to melted marshmallows for festive color.
  • Sprinkles (optional for decoration) Add on top while the bars are still tacky.

Method

Preparation
  1. Place the butter in a large saucepan and warm over low heat until fully melted.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter and stir continuously over low heat until smooth and completely melted. If desired, blend in green food coloring at this stage.
  3. Remove from heat and fold in both cereals until every piece is coated and the mixture is evenly combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and press into an even layer with a lightly greased spatula or hands.
  5. Let the pan sit at room temperature until fully cooled and set before slicing into squares.
  6. If desired, scatter sprinkles on top while the surface is slightly tacky.
