Magic Cookie Bars (Eagle Brand Classic)

These nostalgic Magic Cookie Bars combine layers of buttery graham cracker crust, creamy Eagle Brand condensed milk, chocolate chips, coconut, and nuts — chewy, gooey, and irresistibly easy to make with just six ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 14 oz Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1⅓ cups flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (or other nuts)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). If using a glass dish, lower to 325°F (165°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a medium bowl. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust.
  4. Sprinkle chocolate chips, flaked coconut, and chopped nuts evenly over the milk. Press down gently with a fork.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling around the edges.
  6. Cool completely in the pan. Chill before cutting for clean edges. Cut into 36 bars.

Notes
