Ingredients
  

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 8 oz mozzarella balls (ciliegine or bocconcini)
  • 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • as needed toothpicks or small skewers

Method
 

  1. Rinse the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves thoroughly. Pat them dry using a clean towel or paper towel.
  2. Thread one cherry tomato, one folded basil leaf, and one mozzarella ball onto each toothpick or skewer.
  3. Neatly arrange the Caprese bites on a serving platter in a single layer for a clean presentation.
  4. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic glaze lightly over the assembled bites right before serving.
  5. Finish with a sprinkle of salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste. Serve immediately or keep chilled until serving.

Notes
