Ingredients
  

  • 3–4 medium red apples (Gala or Fuji)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • small pretzel sticks (optional, for tongues)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips or candy eyeballs (optional)
  • lemon juice (to brush on apples)

Method
 

  1. Slice apples into quarters and core them. Cut each quarter in half lengthwise to form lip-shaped slices.
  2. Spread peanut butter generously on one side of each slice.
  3. Line one slice with mini marshmallows or almond slivers to resemble teeth.
  4. Top with another slice (peanut butter side down) to complete the mouth.
  5. Insert a pretzel tongue or chocolate chip eye for extra spooky fun.
  6. Brush with lemon juice to prevent browning and serve immediately.
