  • 1 cup Dates, pitted Soaked in warm water for about 10 minutes to soften
  • 1 cup Almond flour Can be substituted with oat flour or ground nuts
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa powder Use dark cocoa for a richer flavor if desired

Method
 

Preparation
  1. If using whole dates, remove the pits and soak them in warm water for about 10 minutes to soften.
  2. Place the soaked dates, almond flour, and cocoa powder into a food processor. Blend until the mixture becomes a sticky dough.
  3. Using your hands, scoop out small amounts of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls.
  4. Place the formed bites on a plate or tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
