  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup sour cream or yogurt

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mash ripe bananas in a large bowl until mostly smooth but slightly chunky.
  3. Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and sour cream. Mix until creamy and smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold into the wet mixture gently.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top evenly.
  6. Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool completely before slicing to ensure the best texture and moisture.
