Oven-Roasted Green Beans

Delicious and easy oven-roasted green beans tossed in garlic and olive oil, topped with Parmesan, ideal for any meal.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed Feel free to swap for asparagus or broccoli.
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan, freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano is recommended.
  • 0.5 lemon, juice Freshly squeezed.
  • 1-2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  3. Spread the trimmed green beans onto the baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the beans, and toss in the minced garlic, salt, and pepper until everything is well coated.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan over the green beans.
Cooking
  1. Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes or until the beans are lightly browned and fork-tender.
  2. Remove from the oven, drizzle with lemon juice, and garnish with parsley.
  3. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if desired. Serve hot!

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
