Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal Can substitute with another puffed rice cereal.
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) pistachio pudding mix Instant pudding mix adds flavor and color.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Soften slightly before use.
  • 10 ounces marshmallows Ensure they are fully melted.
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips Use quality chocolate (60-70% cocoa) for best results.
  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios Optional garnish for extra crunch.

Method
 

Melting and Mixing
  1. Place a large saucepan over low heat and add the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the marshmallows and stir continuously until smooth.
  2. Remove the pan from heat and immediately stir in the pistachio pudding mix until fully combined.
  3. Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the pan and mix gently but thoroughly to coat each flake.
Setting the Bars
  1. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13-inch pan and press it down firmly and evenly.
  2. Allow to cool and set at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
Chocolate Drizzle
  1. Melt the dark chocolate chips using a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  2. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cooled Rice Krispie layer and sprinkle with pistachios if desired.
  3. Let the chocolate set completely before cutting into squares.
