Method
Melting and Mixing
- Place a large saucepan over low heat and add the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the marshmallows and stir continuously until smooth.
- Remove the pan from heat and immediately stir in the pistachio pudding mix until fully combined.
- Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the pan and mix gently but thoroughly to coat each flake.
Setting the Bars
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13-inch pan and press it down firmly and evenly.
- Allow to cool and set at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
Chocolate Drizzle
- Melt the dark chocolate chips using a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cooled Rice Krispie layer and sprinkle with pistachios if desired.
- Let the chocolate set completely before cutting into squares.
