  • salt and black pepper, to taste

Method
 

  1. Whisk the eggs until smooth with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil or butter.

  4. Spoon the marinara sauce evenly across the surface of the eggs.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and any optional toppings over the eggs.

  7. Remove from heat and garnish with basil or oregano before serving.
