Ingredients
  

Main ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Can use leftover roast chicken.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup Can substitute with homemade or any creamy base.
  • 1 cup sour cream Greek yogurt can be used as a substitute.
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables Feel free to use any leftover veggie mix.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or mozzarella; pepper jack for heat or vegan alternative for dietary restrictions.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • 4 cups cooked rice or pasta Optional ingredient.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mixed vegetables, cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well integrated.
  3. If you are adding rice or pasta, fold it into the mixture now.
  4. Pour the combined ingredients into a greased casserole dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbling and heated through.
  6. Serve warm, and enjoy the flavors!
